Our Team
Our team consists of six part-time employees. We each became involved in the coop as members first and believe strongly in the mission of the FDC.
Julie Pottier-Brown - Manager
Julie is our liason with the farmers. She is responsible for ordering what shows up at the depot each week, as well as finding new farms/dairies to participate in the FDC. Julie is also a volunteer with La Leche League International, a mother to mother support group with a focus on breastfeeding. Julie has been practicing yoga for over 10 years. Through teaching, she shares her practice of yoga with others Though she does all this, Julie is happiest being mother to her two active boys.
Tamara Butts Sullivan - Marblehead Depot coordinator / Back Office Manager
Tamara oversees the distribution of produce at our Marblehead location. Tamara also keeps our mailing list, handles accounts payable and receivable and makes sure we are financially ship shape. Tamara takes over writing the newsletter for the winter months. Besides a passion for farm fresh produce, Tamara has a passon for dance and is quite accomplished. She enjoy's life with her two young daughters here in Marblehead.

Carrie LaCasia - Melrose Depot Coordinator
Carrie overseas the distribution of produce at our Melrose location. Carrie has a passion for living organically and eating fresh, locally grown foods as often as she can. She also has a passion for the fitness and health industry and has been an avid runner for 16 years. She lives in Melrose with her husband and her 2 boxers Rocco & Stella
Cheryl Wolff-Variam - Newsletter Editor
Cheryl works form home. She collects, edits, researches and writes articles pertinent to the FDC and our mission. She loves cooking Indian cuisine, practising yoga, knitting and being a mother. During the winter season Cheryl teaches special needs students.
Dan Burgess - Eastern Route Driver
Dan drives the truck each week to pick up fresh produce from eastern farms and deliver it to the depots. He also helps set up the depot in Salem. Dan is interested in ecology, people, and good food. During the rest of the week, Dan is a designer and craftsperson who works in the furniture industry and when inspired, also makes paintings, sculpture and photography. Dan and his wife Pam are long time residents of Peabody.
